Welcome dearest vendor, to the
Dark Wedding Fair
We are so excited that you have decided to join us at
The Old Library on Saturday 14th November 2026!
We are determined to make this the best show yet and have LOTS of exciting things planned. Part of our success comes from our couples getting excited to meet you, our incredible vendors!
Where most wedding fairs like to keep their suppliers secret until the day, we prefer to shout about you in advance. The advantage? People are not learning about you cold, and the awkward introductions are banished and replaced with excitement and plenty of questions.
How we tell your story makes ALL the difference, and we will be doing everything we can to shout about each and every vendor on the run up to the show. We encourage you to get involved; fill out the directory listing, send us anything you want us to share! AND of course interact with our posts (and share them with your followers whenever possible).
We are SO looking forward to this!

The day is split into 3 sessions to keep the day flowing and the footfall constant throughout the day.
Quiet hour: 11-12
Session 1: 12-2
Session 2: 2-4
——
Quiet hour is specifically for people who get overwhelmed easily and would otherwise avoid the show. This hour will have a restricted footfall and no music or bright/flashing lights.
We ask you to be considerate during this time and to not approach people until they approach you.
-
There are a few places close by to park. Our recommended locations are:
Trinity Street Car Park -
29 Heath Mill Ln, Deritend, Birmingham B9 4AL
North Yard Car Park - Custard Factory, Deritend, Birmingham B5 5ST
Just park Liverpool Street - Teamworks Karting, 2 Liverpool St, Deritend, Birmingham B9 4DS
Digbeth High Street Car Park - High St, Oxford St, Birmingham B5 6DY
We recommend avoiding the use of the Zellig car park where possible, as it tends to fill up quickly. We would also like to keep these spaces available for attendees who may require accessible parking.
We also recommend avoiding the use of Fazeley Street Car Park, as it has a history of vehicle related crime and does not have CCTV coverage in place. -
coming soon

Tables and chairs are provided free of charge. Everyone will be allocated 1 table and 2 chairs. This is with the exception of the small stands that do not get a table
If you don’t need them just let us know - ideally before the day so we aren’t moving tables on the day
Tables are standard 6ft trestle tables
-
Teas, coffees and snacks will be provided in the vendor only area.
For anything more substantial there will be food vendors in the courtyard
-
The floorplan will be available 1 week before the event
-
Most of you have booked a standard sized stand.
This is 2m by 1.2m
Every part of your display (and you) should sit comfortably within this space.
Please practice your set up and make sure you can fit easily inside your area. Our Health and Safety risk assessments rely heavily on ensuring space for people to move throughout the venue safely if there is a need to.
Not to mention encroaching on your neighbours stand is icky.
If you have booked a small stand your space is 1.2m x 1.2m
If you have booked a large stand your space is 4m x 1.2m
-
Please remember to bring your public liability insurance and hygiene certificates for those selling food.
Make sure all electrical items are PAT tested (or are less than 12 months old)
Make a risk assessment of your display. Make sure all signs are secured, all furniture and fittings are stable and there are no trip hazards
All walkways must be clear
This is your show bible. Everything you need to know or do will be here, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for just reach out…
Step 1:
Make sure you have everything you need
Step 4:
Make it count
Step 5:
Have fun!
Join us at Scruffy’s the night before the fair for a drink, a proper catch-up and a chance to put the wedding world to rights without any potential clients getting in the way. No networking, no sales pitches, no need to be professionally charming - just an opportunity to get to know the other suppliers, have a laugh and start the weekend together before the doors open.
Come for one. Stay for several. We’re not your mother. 🖤
When: Friday 13th November
Venue: Scruffy Murphy’s
