Hi, I’m Katie, Founder of Katie Gale’s Unconventional Collective!
I’m an elder emo with 8 years experience as a hair and makeup artist working on hundreds of clients nationally. I have 20 tattoos and counting plus the hearing of someone 3 times my age (thanks to my inability to listen to music at a normal volume) and I am a massive advocate for the alternative wedding scene!
Your wedding hair and makeup should be as one-of-a-kind as your love story, so that’s where we come in. Katie Gale’s Unconventional Collective and I are here to help you express your unique personality through your hair and makeup. Whether you’ve been dreaming of a vintage-inspired victory roll with a pop of red lipstick or your Pinterest board is a wall of flower crowns and Doc Martens, we’ll work together to bring your entire vision to life. All created with modern editorial techniques – the ones that make you look good even on a 4K TV! – but with that vintage, alternative vibe. And I promise it’ll fit exactly with the rest of your day.

We would recommend contacting us as soon as you have booked your venue! We typically get booked up on average 18 months in advance with our most popular months being September-November.

Simply complete this enquiry form and Katie will get back to you with availability within 72 hours. You can also book a 15 minute discovery call via this link.

Once you have submitted your enquiry, Katie will determine the availability of artists in the collective. During your discovery call Katie will become your hair and makeup match maker to help you determine who is the right artist for you!

Katie Gale’s Unconventional Collective has artists based across the UK, covering almost every region!
We travel all over the UK and even abroad for destination weddings. There will just be travel fees added to your booking, plus hotel etc if necessary. This can all be discussed at booking.
