Hello, I'm Alex.

Part celebrant, part bard, part professional wrangler of humans.

Before I became a celebrant, I spent more than three decades working in the places where people gather. Looking back, every role taught me the same thing: people are fascinating, wonderfully complicated, and at their best when they're permitted to be themselves.

These days I create wedding ceremonies for couples who colour both inside and outside the lines.

My job isn't to squeeze you into a ceremony formula. It's to get to know you, uncover the stories that matter, and create something that feels authentic to you.

I want your guests laughing, crying, nudging each other at the inside jokes, and leaving with the feeling they've witnessed something genuinely special.
If you want it, you can expect storytelling, symbolism, happy tears, laughter, and the occasional burst of chaos-goblin enthusiasm. I love weaving together the chance encounters, ridiculous coincidences, private jokes, shared adventures, hard-won victories, family legends, and small everyday acts of love that make every relationship unique.

But beneath the bard energy sits a former registrar and ex-bar manager who's spent years handling events, managing live music venues, reading rooms, calming nerves, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly when life decides to throw in a last-minute plot twist.
